Its already the end of another great season, many guys have set great new PBs, im stoked i set a new 0.01 PB this season

There is a few titles up for asking still, in my case Paul Carey my team partner has a extreme outside chance of taking the supercharged outlaws title (if bato doesnt qual) , so the little rice burner toyo PcUz billet blown rx7 could take it all, or at best second third forth or fifth http://www.perthrotary.com/images/smilies/icon/lol.gif

Im entered in the final meet of super comp oz mod to try and bust my left nut into a 9 sec time, ive personally restricted myself to 20psi boost as a personal goal from the start of my racing career , but having 7 year old slicks is killing it for me haha .

Hope to see a shit load of you antilagers out there doing your best to wear out those back tyres , so who's in...

as i said brad, worst case, throw the rods out 1st pass after accepting the tree (should still count as qualifying). well, worst case is blowing up the car during warm up in the pits. in which case, go back to shop, get lambo, remove greg's race numbers, write waynes numbers on, return to track.....

am i allowed to wear Extreme shirt if im officially crewing for you brad?

compulsory qualifier is the one you have to get to first, all the other quals don't mean squat haha , but no doubt you guys have it in the bag anyway, you have been always up there in the points this year again .

Yeh you can wear your extreme shirt , it will make it easier for them to accept you back in their marquee that night when bato wins, would look funny you hanging around our joint all day haha , depends what kind of food spread are you guys putting on afterwards , i may need a spare shirt ...

Jump online Dean, Shane is entering and sorting tickets today so it's probably not too far off?? Motorplex website is your answer.

As for Shane pulling out all his tricks this meet, there's not many other opportunities so it's probably about time he showed Super Sedan what he can do!

I'm keen to see if I can crack a 9.4 out of the 1170 Kwaka before I jump on the old man's bike next season :D
There has been plenty of grip this season so we're going to take the tyre pressure up a bit higher than we have before, maybe up the launch revs and see what we can pull out.
I'm in 10th in the points at the moment but I can get as high as third if results go my way, there's a whole bunch of riders crammed within about 40 points of each other. Mod Bike has been tough this year, I have 480 points which in most brackets is enough for around 5th at this stage but I'm well out of that haha. Will see how it goes!

I got a runner up! Second final of the season.
Broke out with a 9.39 (backing off) on a 9.42 dial in. Considering we were just hoping to maybe squeak in a 9.4 I was amazed it went a 9.3. It's a virtually stock 1170 we are running. It must like running hot or something because despite having 20 minute turnarounds between third round and semi and the semi and the final (actually 19 minutes to the final!!!) it ran its quickest 60ft ever (1.27) and was on about a 9.37 if I had have held it the whole way.
Would have been good to win as I would have got second in the championship and the Kate Scott Memorial trophy, but it wasn't to be I guess. Finished equal fourth in the points. Not bad after the start to the season we had.
But yeah, all day it seemed to be a killer bike. We ran four 9.50s in a row although all with varying amounts of backing off.

The conditions were awesome. If you didn't run quick in that you're not gonna run quick anywhere! Almost everyone I talked to had a PB on the day.

Good work. Gota love making it to the finals. I saw one run of your's where you ran a 9.50 on a 9.50 dial in. Good skills!

i didn't run quick luke :( , about the only good thing was the bottle of wine i bought , and pauls sand play box for me to play with late into the night.
Was good to see you and many others doing PBs last night, even paul broke out with one of his PBs
Shit note wasteh poor buggers over from us who got 60l of meth stolen while they were racing , dogs are everywhere now

That was Foster yeah? It's incredible that people will do that with so many eyes around. Cheeky fucks...especially when I heard the poor guy just spent $16k getting his motor fixed to come back for the last round.

yeh i want directly told who it was, but one of my crew guys told me it was the "team" across from us that got the fuel ripped off , pretty sad state to be having that shit happening, and good on him for getting back for his last race in that car to keep his second place,
To be honest we were gunning for second, but ended 4th :(

we got a PB on the night (6.65), and won the A final. oh, and just happened to win the championship while we were at it too. was an awesome weekend!

friday night brad, ill see you at fast friday!

congratulations on the final luke, well deserved.

not sure about the fuel thingo brad. kinda weird, that someone has "stolen" 60L of methanol out of the jugs. they would have had to walk over with funel and jugs and do the swap over in plain sight. and everyone takes spare methanol to the track, so no need to steal it, as everyone will pitch in and lend a hand. i'd lean towards someone forgetting to fill the drums back at home.

foster threw the rods out last meet, rather badly. tony argentino spent the last 3 weeks thrashing to rebuild his engine for this meet, as he was 2nd in the points, which meant tony didnt have time to build his own engine, which was kind of unfortunate.

and we actually offered to go back to the shop and get the lambo fuel jugs for foster, but tony had already left to go get the hitmans jugs. we were going to win anyway, no reason to sabotage. although im pretty sure i smelt a certain commodore wagon leaving that smelt like it was burning alcohol based fuel, and said commodore went from almost empty fuel tank, to full around the time of the 1st outlaws qualifier....

tom you got some meth you wanna unload......... cheap .....free reach arounds.
And no fridays , no fuel .
My wagons running funny this morn

Also pb for the funky chickens sr rail too

We got a 8.9 in a grudgy at the end of the night in the funky chicken sr dragster. Was hoping for much more but just couldnt get any boost into it as it had a really weak wastegate spring. Should go a lot better with 35psi rather than 21psi. We actually ran with no intercooler either. The sr datto didnt fair so well, think its spun a bearing as it feels a bit tight to crank over. Time to fit an oil accumulator as its droping pressure on launches.

hopefully this works... shitty iphone vid of the 6.68 pass that won us the A final. unfortunatly, none of us really thought we would do a 6.65 in the first round, so no videos of it.

Mstyle this is your first warning mate. refusal to do a burnout upon reuqest is a ban-able offence. i dont care if it was in the staging lanes, and people were everywhere, its no excuse!

Pretty good conditions for racing, even if we bumped ourselves out with a 9.B/O in the first round. PBs were falling all day, let alone at night when it got crispy.. I reckon Shane might've gone close to his as well but when it came down to the choice of that or a huge smokey skid to finish the season, he opted for the latter :D

The falcon that ended up on it's side, then roof then tyres was a bit surreal, haven't seen a car change lanes so aggressively like that before. And not too long after one of the outlaws (I think) almost cleaned up the blue centre wall where the xmas tree is.

Good times all in all, glad I took a couple of jackets along!

Mark Mackay and Trent Morrison both crossed the centre line really early on in the pass, but Andrew Minogues was the big hit of the night....

car is stationary for about 20 seconds in the clip, and no firies in sight... definetly would not race a quick car without a +30 suit and a fire bottle system!

^^ Agreed and I mentioned it on the night, the first person on the scene is someone who runs in, and the emergency cars make it from the end of the track before the guys in the emergency ute on the start line get there. Definitely in their comfort zone and sitting on their hands when the job needed to be done.

Luckily the bloke was alright, but the car was mangled, split/popped open the blower, the whole lot. Apparently he's binned the car once or twice before and cut and shut the front end? Not sure if he'll do it again, can only do that thing so many times before structural rigidity and 'straightness' becomes an issue I'd have thought.
