Best bet would be to jump on FordLaser.com - you just missed out on this one (http://fordlaser.com/viewtopic.php?t=81038) by just over a month.

TX3s are gay as aids btw, especially that one posted above. What the fuck was the owner thinking respraying over the BEST colour they were ever released in... :D

EDIT: Does it -have- to be a Laser? There's a BFMR for sale...better imo. Still the same chassis, engine, driveline, etc.

theres a guy selling one here too:

http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=226692

not sure if its the same guy but i seem to remember there is a guy around with a username similar to VHELLT(might be the same guy) who was a bit of a pingpingpingpinghole and scammed a few people and stole parts, obviously you are buying something from him so he wouldnt be stealing from you, but i wouldnt want to give you a link like this without telling you that i think he may have had some dishonest dealings in the past.

then again, he owns a vl so you should understand he is more than lilkey a bogan piece of shit like the rest of us anyway...

Cranky as soon as I can get my MX5 running with it's new motor my KF/KH AWD is up for grabs. It's been demoted to daily driver and has since had a stock motor put back in it.

It will be priced to sell. PM me for more details if you want.

Nothing wrong with GSRs better car then a old TX3 anyday....Only prob the 1.8L is weak as piss...

well i had a 300hp at all 4 323 & let me tell you that was a blast.

hoping to eventually get the gsr to a similar level, stronger gearbox is a definate bonus allthough i never broke one in the 323.

theres just something special about those little cars when packing a few horses ;)

GSR boxes arent to shabby i put one thru hell (stock) thru hundreds of launches / flat changes and was over 180k old, had VR4 2L and bigger turbo upfront tho.

Box bearings where the only thing that failed in the end but car you could still drive...miss it to this day !

Nice, what turbo did it have?

Aristoman

Started with a EVO3 turbo which was super duper responsive then stupidly went for a TD06 20G later on....Back a few yrs ago made about 193 awkws.

If its a 1.8L dont even bother fixing it, source a 2L VR4 / EVO cut asap.

Piddly rods and annoying lifters !

Best of luck and if it needs work lowball at will :p

Yeah its got the 93. Lifters on my evo 6 used to be noisey at times too. Hopefully just vale stem seals. Cheers

:( The old rev happy 4G93 if only they were stronger internals !

Hoping its a simple fix but if not dump the 4G93 quicksmart

BTW my old car was a complete EVO2 replica with genuine everything: guards / bonnet / front bar / fmic / rear EVO2 wing.

oh yeah im stoked allright, i put a deposit down days before i even saw it.
the body/paint looks as good now as when in those pics - except the front bar has copped a towball, so thast needs a bit of repair.
Its got stock front bar for now, until i fix the e2 bar.
and same guy owned it for 12+ yrs & has all service history since he stopped driving it about a year ago, so seems to have been well looked after.

got a few oil leaks around the valve cover & starts to puff a bit of smoke when hot at idle out the pipe (was a bit hard to see out the back off the car on the way home with the e2 bumper, but suspect valve stem or guide seal)

pulls quite hard tho & seems to have very good compression tho :)

sorry cant consider your wheels dude, im allready $800 in the hole with the lexus

Aristoman
14-04-2011, 09:05 PM
I would've knowing the previous owner and the history ! You definetly scored a true bargain alot better then the TX3 you're chasing :)

That head to head pic was near on 8+ yrs ago. Genuine E2 bar just need the matching guards to suit.

Can tell you very normal for the 4G93 with the puff of smoke which would be VSS, but i wouldnt worry touching them.

No worries with the wheels they're 16s and im only wanting $150 for the whole set of 4.

Lump
14-04-2011, 09:44 PM
Dont think the bar is genuine and pm sent about wheels
and great news about the smoke! btw whats a vss?
Cheers

Fibre trash copy ooh bollocks :(

Very common issue with 4G93's and the bigger block brethren too, VSS are valve stem seals :D
