The brother of Queensland flood hero Jordan Rice has been bashed by a group of teenagers who broke his collarbone and then set up a Facebook page about their attack.

It is believed Blake Rice, 10, was targeted because of the fame his family's tragedy brought, Nine News reports.

In January Blake's brother Jordan, 13, and mother Donna were swept away by the Toowoomba flash flood.

Jordon was called a hero after he told rescuers to "take my brother first".

"This boy, I suggest, was picked out because of the publicity he's received," Toowoomba mayor Peter Taylor told Nine News.

Blake suffered a broken collarbone after six older teenage boys beat him with sticks at a local park while he was walking home from school.

After the attack those, responsible set up a Facebook page called "We bashed Blake Rice".
