Opinions: Wheel colour

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about painting my SSR Type-C rims, they are bronze at the moment. Contemplating on painting them a nice bright colour. Going onto a silver car (will do a showcase once car is completed)

Colour options are:

Purple
Lime green
Pink
or open to other bright colours :)

OP: What car is it actually going on? Not all cars can pull off the fluro look, IMHO you need to have a slammed and poked car JUST to pull it off. Whether or not it looks good is another matter.

first post pic of car, personally seeing its going on a silver car I would be going white, otherwise go black but be sure to put some colour into the wheel nuts and brakes so it doesnt look so dark

just make sure you put some decent brakes on it if you're going to paint them purple. Nothing looks gayer than shitty single pots painted up. If you've even got the nissan 4 pots then go for it.

Black rims suck, so I'm going with Hammertone Bronze on my 19's - but still keeping the polished lip. Going to be an absolute pingpingpingping of job to etch all of the area that needs to be painted :(

hard to picture your car with the rims but either gloss black or stay with bronze. Seeing its a silver supra I would probably only go white if car is dumped hard with a fairly savage offset I think.

Don't paint them, as stated already, the weak offsets will make them poo.

Anyways, bronze maybe "boring"....but it's at least neutral and a safe wheel colour for this vehicle, whereas some funky coloured shit - some will like it, some will hate it and again think you're gay - up to you in the end.

Want something exciting, get some Tempe's, 20x7.0" +40 is where it's at.

Colourful wheels are to be used in the correct context; I don't mind seeing track cars run fluro sh*t, but that's just my opinion.

Don't ruin a f*cking Supra with 35/40 on it by putting retarded coloured wheels on it - get it bloody tuned etc and make some more power! (it's not making much atm/untuned?)

pretty set on going black or even gunmetal... was only going to go purple for a while... then back to a safe colour...

just got a major service yesterday... the next thing on the to-do list is new rotors and pads... then coilovers... need to take care of the handling before making more power!!!
