Wanted ~ IPHONE 4, need a new or near new replacment due to broken iphone 3

Take your iPhone to Apple store in the city and they will swap it out for a new one for a $250 fee. This applies to any type of catastrophic damage (ie. water damage, run over by car etc.)

they wouldn't let me upgrade my 3GS to a 4 when it turned into a vibrator.

I have had a few friends that got replacement iPhone 4's for damaged iPhone 3's but only when the Apple store was totally out of stock of iPhone 3's.

Have an appointment booked for Monday morning to get my Iphone 3 checked. What's the best scenario to give them as to why my screen is cracked & why it intermittently wont make calls until i turn it off/on... Meaning what has worked for you or your mates??

Meaning what has worked for you or your mates??seriously just go in there and tell them it intermittently wont make calls and leave it at that. they can see the screen cracked and they dont care.

mate went in there and said his microphone stopped working so no one could hear him and told them it happend a few weeks after the phone went for a swim...they didnt care and replaced for free.

just make sure your phone is backed up on your itunes so you dont lose any message, settings, phone numbers, etc. then if they give you a new one for nothing then just restore your old phones backup onto the new and good time ahead.

the phones they give you are "new" refurbished units anyway and come with a 3month warranty
