i dare say there are some "townships" you can drive through, say on the way to broome, where the government is supporting each person 200%+++ eg 100% money support plus well over that again trying to sort the mess out.

Anywhere North of Gero, East of Kalvegas us the same. Once you get to the Pilbara / Kimberly though BHP & Rio and friends make sure that 200% is topped up considerably. I have a local bloke working for me at the moment, he loves telling us how much $ he gets from it all... I'd still rather not be a coon !

Parents live in Westminster (which is not Balga even though it used to be)

Dad has been a disability pensioner for 20 years. He would gladly trade the pain he lives in to be able to work for more than a massive 600 bucks a fortnight to support my mum and a house.

Problem?

These suburbs are nowhere near as bad as people make them out to be. Sure there are alot of immigrants but whose fault is that? I've always lived around this area and don't find anything wrong with it.

I used to live in wesminster 4 years ago. Lived there for a year..

In that time I experienced the following
- having to wind down every window shutter the house had every night because houses in the street were receiving shit chucked through their window by randoms
- waking up to loud noises constantly and doing checks around the house armed with a jack handle
- car got broken into
- had some stoner try and car jack me
- lots of houses in the street were broken into
- almost every day I cleaned up bottles on my front lawn
- I lived on a bend, had numerous cars spin out and end up on my verge facing the wrong way
- heard lots of burnouts
- saw lots of africans driving hondas with dumb spoilers

I was so glad to get out of there. I didnt know what the area's reputation was like until I was there.. By that time it was too late. Blackdoune way was not a nice street. Guess thats what you get for paying 200 bucks a week for rent.. Pay 430 now and now SOR and I feel safe enough to leave a window open (not that I take the risk)

Seems to work for most people when applying it to aboriginals.

When you are part of the minority that doesn't fit the stereotype, expect and deal with it.

You would, your choice to downgrade. Nevertheless according to govt statistics even Kwinana and Rocko are better than Balga, can't argue with the facts! :P

* Postcodes with highest percentage of people receiving Centrelink payments for Newstart Allowance, Parenting Payment partnered and single, Youth Allowance for jobseekers, Disability Support Pension and Age Pension.

The whole story is based on a pretty broad range of people who are receiving the Centrelink payments, so it doesn't really indicate a hell of a lot really.

Been here 28 years

Worst things to happen

-boong tried to break in in 1991
-antilag members doing skids in the street
-retard neighbours dobbing me in for driving like a maniac despite the fact I stick below 50.

Like you would find a wealthy suburb in that list. Only natural the cheapest place is going to have the lowest income.

It's not a surprise Mandurah is on that list.. Must be one of the top destinations for old fuckers to retire in.. Throw in a few skanky girls getting knocked up early and the usual suburbia dregs milking the system and maybe it should've gone to #1. But competing with Balga's dregs is a true challenge, we never stood a chance.

Would like to see the report broken down into suburbs instead of post codes, seeing how 6210 (Mandurah) covers everything from Lakelands (just south of Singleton) up to the Dawesville bridge.

Lol @ neighbours dobbing in for driving too fast.

My retarded neighbours have come to my house, and bitched to my old man, threatening with cops, that I drive too fast around the corners near my place... I go about 40 through there.

Stupid bitch.

Wow 30% is a lot..

I lived in the KGB for about 3 weeks before I got out.

Was in Koondoola when I first arrived in this country three years ago.. had my brand new VE tagged on the back window in the first week.. second week got told to f*ck off back to my own country by the yobbo next door with the "Fit in or f*ck off" sticker on his Cruiser.. then got threatened at the local IGA for my 5 year old Nokia cell phone by some natives... wanted to get back on the next plane and leave but as soon as I moved I realised I was in the bronx.

Reminded me of South Auckland/once were Warriors. LLOL.
