Driving standards: You will inevitably be punted during the evening (from accidents or lag) but 'revenge' punts just breed more shit driving.
Keep it clean. Even if you think you've been hard done by. Keep it clean.

Driving Standards

Some drivers are obviously faster than others but we're all racing for fun so boost is turned on to keep the pack together.

> Give each other racing room. No other pushing or ramming other cars off the tarmac.
> If you accidentally push or hit a competitor off the track, slow and let them re-pass you to address the situation (apologising via your headset will also help).
> If you deliberately push or hit a competitor off the track, you won't be invited back.

See you all tomorrow.

At this time I'll likely be at a mate's house with wireless internet.
He's not gone online in GT5 before so we're hoping to give it a go tonight.

We'll test out the ping and make the settings as best they can be, but I honestly have no idea how good/reliable/fast wireless connections are, so MGR if you want to let me know in the first few races if we're lagging the fuck out of everyone and we'll jump off, no worries.

I'll add you - my mate's PSN handle is hurrikane I think. :)

Wireless seems to run pretty good BUT it's not uncommon to get connection problems and get kicked out of a race half way through for no reason a few of us have found.

Everyone should check out the online collectors dealership heaps of cheap cars with 0k's on them.

i dont mind a bit of panel rubbing but smashing into someone by cutting them off then racing away really isnt sporting.

Ill pop on.

Guys if you end up taking people out by accident or by just not braking, please drop back and let said person pass as good gesture.

It makes racing so much more fun.

game froze on daytona track loading. left lobby and rejoined only to get the black screen when the race started.

couldnt hear what people with headsets were saying properly, so appologies if i interupted anything. Really need to invest in a headset so i can respond faster.

Fuji in the GTR's was good fun, The boost kept fucking with my judgement into turn one, once I figured that out I punted less people.

Headset will make communication easier, I think theres a spare one at dads

was some funny shit from a couple of cars back.

The R8's at Tsukuba was an awesome race. The GTR's at Fuji were good as well once everyone settled down a bit in the second race (plus winning off the strategy of pitting for tyres helps make it a good race)

The ISF's at the Le Mans track was just stupid racing. Reminded me a lot of the front wheel drive car races around Nurburgring, corners being cut, cars being taken out on straight, but had some hilarious moments.

Looked a bit rough from a spectator's point of view.
Obviously my mate had some teething problems this time. He hadn't given GT a go so we had to install all the game data too.
Took over 2 hours to do that + updates and when it was all done there was too many problems to race (black screens entering and exiting races which didn't fo away). We'l fix it and be back next week!

lol @ the GTR pic, Bj's car had wings I swear that was in the air more then on the ground.

As soon as you hear Dave's laugh you know some serious shit is about to or just has gone down.

Connection issues a plenty last night, no matter who was host.

I'll be taking some additional measures to try and improve the situation for next week, but I suspect the problems were probably more likely related to the PSN network or the most recent GT5 patch which seems to have spawned a few game bugs.

GTR's on Fuji and some of the Tsukuba races were the highlight. The Circuit de la Sarthe race was 'interesting'. Wouldn't mind trying it again next week in the dark (with penalties on and boost set low)
