Hey guys,

Just changing over my tie end rods.

Realised the ones that have been supplied to me are shorter than the originals.

Will they still be fine to use if i simply move the bolt futher down to compensate?

Looks like it will be fine to me. Just make sure it is grabbing plenty of thread as you wind it on. Count how many rotations so you can get the other side even aswell

You are ment to count turns off then same turns back on for rough guide then wheel align. Take to WA suspensions and get them to do it then wheel align, not too expensive.

obviously they arent going to be the same amount of turns to put them back on, because they are shorter and he needs them to stick out more. so the amount of turns off would be irrelevant.

but i agree with it needing a wheel alignment afterwards.

I just measured the difference and made sure i got it as close as I could to the old alignment, will be taking it in tomorrow for an alignment, car drives ok.

The left and right hand side ones they supplied weren't even exactly the same, sigh @ veales. Thanks guys.
