Just wanted to know if anyone had a scanner they could use to read/clear a cel on an 01wrx. Called a few workshops wanting 50$~, just seeing if i could get it done free first.

Yeh, not free. Ebay sell scanners 50$, cheap and nasty but will work more then once. Def worth it over paying a shop 50$.

I got one located in Canning Vale... it does A4 and smaller and i'll do it for $34.50 less than mitchy.

More bang for buck, i'll remember to leave an invoice on the next tyre i change for the douches that forget they jacks/spanners next cruise. After all, shouldn't help people out for free right?

The general point was paying 0$ and using someone elses scanner, upon calling a few workshops 50$ being the minimum, ranging to 100$ I'd rather buy my OWN tool, which will be used for myself and others cars which within two uses will have paid for itself instead of paying to use someone elses for an almost identical fee for one-time use. think logically.
