Was keen to go, filled out a form and everything. Then i realised when (not if, when) my heads decide they dont wanna be friends with my motor because of the blower and lift...or when (once again, not so much of an if) my T5 decides its had enough of the game and implodes, i don't have the cash at the moment to fix it. Hopefully next year i can get out there with all you lot, but this time around i'll just be eagerly spectating and whoring it up in a passenger seat or two.

Format, well the track sessions are the best ie: cruises inparticular bascially you'll get 10 laps with a designated 130kph zone but you'll be doing well over that in most area's. They'll be a few cars but you'll get to lineup on the main straight and burn them off.

In regards to parking wherever you can find real estate and there's a fair bit of it....

We've found that even a measly 10% ethanol offer significant detonation protection on a standard PB98 tune. For my "street duties" I just splash in to the tank enough to show between E8 and E12 on the meter.

I enjoyed spectating for the most of it :( Calais threw up the engine light on the first cruise lap and then again on the off-street drags. Every time i went past 50% throttle the engine light came on and it entered limp mode. Did the last cruise session like a fucking nanna!

Picked up a new TPS tonight from Welshpool and will install tomorrow if it does it again (It didnt do it when testing on the freeway.... troubleshooting shit is awesome)

One thing that surprised was the amount of Holdens and Fords giving their cars shit around the corners/exit of corners, compared to other vehicles.

Is it just me or do they let too many cars out at once??????? Some cars could really do with a little more space to stretch their legs. Going around the corners looks like peak hour traffic........meh.

Hope the weather isn't too bad tomorrow as I got some "work" to do there, would be a major piss off if there is rain (both for spectators and the people who brought their cars I'm assuming!).

1st powercruise ive been to and I dont understand why everyone raves about this over motorvation. same bs from the organisers hating on jap cars, in fact i think its worse by far! really enjoyed seeing the GTR's toast all the V8's despite Gups best efforts to shuffle the grid and get a V8 through. GTR wins, so he has to bring is wagon out, gives it a head start and Dean still almost got past it and probably would have if it didnt cross over and block him off. Top work Dean, Mark, Chris and all the other AL's that came out. Im hoping it dries up today so I can take the Supra out ;)

Got home 9.15 this morning after taking to the track one last time.
Well done to the Skylines who did well in the competition events, i was glued to the fence watching!
Definitely time for an engine upgrade, at least my handling didn't let me down with my coilovers giving me the upper hand against the v8's on the corners.
Spotted a few familar cars from here, well done to all you guys.

You sign a declairation saying that you cant complain about the noise when you purchase land in the area. Cause you are also under air space from pearce air port and all the other race tracks in the area. So no need to worry for a while unless it goes the same way as ravenswood.

Watching the black 32 GTR during the drags was pretty entertaining. Taking off and pulling 3 or 4 car lengths only to slow down to let the car catch up then land on it again and still pull another few car lengths, funny.

Yer - a bit cheeky but still hell fun.
Obviously the motorsport gods didn't smile on such behavior and my gearbox let go in the Friday arvo powercruise whilst chopping Brokas (with 4 people in the car also).

XSpeed again to the rescue fitting a "lucky dip" gearbox on Friday night that survived the weekend.

Had a couple drags in the afternoon vs the marone r32 gtr, blew an intercooler pipe a second after i launched it, fixed it.. came back on and got vengeance :D :D That track is way too slippery, especially in that corner before the straight..

A pretty good event, and nice to see a variety of cars out on the track.
Saw Brockas and Oz in their 33's, and various other familar cars.
I got about an hour's worth of video of various cruising, drifting and racing.
I also got some footage of the Tard who made Gup get on the PA system, and have some strong words threatening to close the day down.
I was also witness to what sounded like the ejected driver's ghetto trash mother going off on the phone to someone.
The last time I heard that many swear words in the space of 5 minutes, was on a very busy building site!

What the hell happened there...

Announcers told everyone to behave and no drifting/burnouts during one of the last cruises.
This Assclown decided to ignore instructions and did a massive burnout all the way down the straight, through turn one and almost to turn two resulting in a tyre blowing.
Gup named and shamed him on the PA, and had his car towed outside the front gate.
He then obviously called Mummy, and she came down looking for a fight.

Much respect for the burnout, it was pretty bloody good actually.
However, doing a burnout after being told not to, doing it very close to other cars, and causing almost the whole track to come to stop whilst you're doing it -> Fail.

Just yelling out "yeah Shaun!!" while he was walking past with the event guy. They thought it was funny...not many people were seeing the funny side. Fair enough it was a good skid, but it was a cruise session. Deserved to be banned & he shouldn't be whinging about them towing his car outside the gate when he should be thankful nobody decked him

This weekend was awesome on so many levels.

Great driving as always Carl. Great to see chop being dished out all round (apart from me - I had fun being chopped 3/4 of the time!) and great to hang around such a good bunch of pingpingpingpings. The all-round standard of vehicles and drivers who are part of this club is fantastic.

Also a big fan of Andy's green Territory among many other things; Mikeys XR, the two silver Farone cars, mumbo, various antilag GTR's and without a doubt, [ER 34 WA] - that is fucking perfection!

Big thanks to Richard for capturing some of my antics with a couple of his go-pros. Looking forward to seeing some footage mate :)

I'm just reviewing my video footage now, and I can't believe I got almost an hour's worth!
I gotta say that I don't normally like R33's, but OZ's looked awesome. There isn't anything I'd change about it.
Also, pics don't do Brockas's R33 justice, it's a nice clean example.
