Driving Standards
You will inevitably be punted during the evening (from accidents or lag) but 'revenge' punts just breed more shit driving.
Keep it clean. Even if you think you've been hard done by. Keep it clean.
> Give each other racing room. No other pushing or ramming other cars off the tarmac.
> If you accidentally push or hit a competitor off the track, slow and let them re-pass you to address the situation (apologising via your headset will also help).
> If you deliberately push or hit a competitor off the track, you won't be invited back.
For how to join and connection troubleshooting CLICK HERE (http://www.antilag.com/forums/showpost.php?p=818220&postcount=2).
See you all Thursday.

Had a quick play with the S2000 last night. Thought on the Eiger Nordwand track would be frying tyres everywhere but gripped reasonably well without fine tuning suspension/diff/gearing.
No poll for next week on choice of car?
Pole added. Next's weeks first race will be Spa.
I found any tuning applied to the S2000 to increase mid corner pace was negated by the lost time in keeping the rear under control through the hairpins. You can lap quite consistently with the standard suspension & diff setup. Just set the gear ratios right and away you go. The forth hairpin is going to catch a few people out during the race (the one that drops away to the left then kinks right).
Small vid from last week on the Nurb. Apologies for shitty video qaulity and capture framerate. one day I'll get a proper video capture card. LOLOLOL at VY's (Tre-Cool) attempt to keep the car straight down through Fuchsröhre.

BTW, all the cars on the poll for next week can be race modded.

LOL that was hilarious!
I'm also losing it laughing watching the "How to drive like a pingpingping" video. Dave single-handedly ruining 6 peoples race.

Was curious by this comment until I practiced online earlier tonight. Car has a lot more tendency to oversteer online compared to offline.

I must say I was only really interested in the dlc for the track and cars, but after getting it the stupid colours and race gear available are awesome. My guy is now sporting pink camo race suit and helmet and my Honda has flouro blue wheels, like a boss.
Yeah, there's some fairly interesting suit designs in that DLC pack. You can also just buy the tracks or cars or painyts or suits on their own. Cheaper to buy the pack though.
I must've been the only one that voted for the TVR :(
Joined in some online shuffle races at Spa of Tuesday night. Awesome racing in the wet or dry. Karting is pretty intense on the new 'kart space' track. Also noticed the new karts have a small headlight. Night time Nurburgring kart race anyone?

Another race like last weeks Monza with the changing track conditions would be good. That was fun trying to pick which lap to pit for dry tyres. I took the gamble early after spinning at Parabolica and getting a crap run onto the straight. Hitting the brakes and only being half on the dry line had its moments, discovering the game actually gets a dry line forming on the wet track.

We'll do this sort of thing on Spa. Much better track.

I hit up some online Spa last night too, in the wet. Man it's a quick track but the rain forces you to go slow and it's a real test to get it right sometimes.
Right foot wants to push down ASAP but brain says "hold on you've got no grip yet ya n00b".
Need to get in a Jensen Button mindset if you want to be at the front of the pack at the end of the race.

hahaha i enjoyed most of the racing although the S2000s not so much because i never bothered to practice so was way off the pace
more pics!
I dont mind the shuffle racing either as long as you accept you get a dud car now and then - that yank tank that i got at laguna was fucked!
Really enjoyed the Nurburgring races in both the dry (golf) and wet (M3).
Might upload some video later tonight.

Wow looks like my car was Glitching for everyone else. Certainly never got air at Monaco on my screen. The only time I actually noticed my car was glitchy was in the NASCAR races where for example I span on my own about a car length behind sciflyer and for some reason it took him out with me.
On a positive note I had some really close racing a few times last night, I've discovered I have a real tendency to let my driving go to shit towards the end of the last lap in most races, always letting the lead slip right at the end, might need to work on that.

Though the driving was pretty good this week, although I was useless on the karts!

Yup, I couldn't see you all night. No idea why but looks like I was lagging more than on my screen.
