Looking for a large cheap rear wing. Just a generic large ricer wing. Preferably quite tall and quite wide and definitely long. Preferably with some sort of adjustability on the angle too, or atleast some decent angle so as it might work. Obviously talking about something better than ye-ol double sided tape job

At this stage not really after anything too serious, just want to try it out some time on a shit boot at barbs.

plz post or pm here, just fielding options ATM.

wont need it in barbs, it will make your car slower to be honest...
the speed that we carry around the corner in barbs is not going to make any usable downforce of the wing.

are you looking for downforce on the straight?

Spent the money on
Brakes, Good suspension and Good tyres.
that should trim the time down.

It depends on the application Chris. Rod found almost a second in his MX-5 when he fitted the rear wing, this is based on short track too.

I am doing all those other things. but I figure for the relative cost it is a cheap mod to try. My car is very very light on the back, even under braking at high speed the rear was very loose. My issue is I have too much hp coming on too hard for my ability, so I dont mind if it drags me down a little bit, If it gives me a little more confidence and makes te rear a little more planted I'll be happy.

Anyway, just looking for a cheapy to test it out.... If it's slower then it's not a big loss.

Give it a shot, hope that would help out?

Loose under braking,
Check out your brakes system - see if you have uneven pad wears due to lazy piston
Your wheel alignment - try to put some toe in on the front and the rears on it. and see how that goes.

Hope that helps ya abit.

that issue was with 32gtr 4 piston fronts and 1 piston standard rears, i have bigger brakes to go on front and back, should be a better balance. new brake system will happen shortly. new front suspension is on the cards, however no such thing as toe on a live axle :(.

cheers though. i dont expect a big difference, but a few k on suspension and a few on the brakes, might aswell buy a rough boot for under $50 and bang a cheap wing on it and see if ~$150 makes a difference.

not really expecting to find a large cheap wing right away, will probs do laps with new brakes, then new suspension, then add a wing and compare.
