Pumped For 360 and hilltop as I left it too late for tickets to there up and coming Perth shows, pretty good lineup IMO. Last year I camped at the footy oval it was 20 bucks I think and they had a shuttle bus going to and from the show and ladies at the canteen all night and for breakky was pretty good, worth a look if you can't get other accom.

What were people's thoughts on gtm this year? As far as the festival itself I have been the last 2 years and think it was run quite well both times and generally has a pretty chilled vibe, saw minimal muppets and no fights so many juvies though. In terms of the music a little disappointed was mainly going to see 360 and hilltop but don't think they quite lived up to expectations after last years bliss n eso and drapht combo. All in all had a pretty awesome day !

Public Enemy was it for me. Seeing a band I've had cds/tapes for since i was 14 ( now 31) was a highlight for me, seeing them in my own town was just it. Flavour Flav smashing out the Bass and then drums was fucking awesome too.

360, Hermitude, Hilltops were all fucking awesome. Got a few clips of everyone belting those guys with bottles hanging off the speaker tower and Hilltop stopping the show to get them down. Went to see Naysayer, saw everyone sitting down, stayed for 2 minutes and walked out as well. Wasn't into it all unfotuneately.

San Cisco was awesome too. Parkway drive was pretty good to watch as well.

I think the sound was better, security was a heap better, and that $1 a can thing was a good idea, less shit on the ground, and free drinks if you picked them up.

Also definitely liked how they ran 2 screens this year and had multiple cameras, last 2 years they only ran the screen behind them, this year with the cameras showing on the other stages screen was awesome.

First time I'd been and was pretty awesome, no agro, no overzealous security, no massive lines at the bars, good times.

Was keen for Hermitude but didn't get there in time, Muscles put on a great show, only caught the last 3 songs of 360 but it was still great. I hadn't seen Hilltops since I saw a free show at Scarborough in 2003, wasn't let down (although I probably should have gone to their solo show they did instead of BDO, I imagine that would have been longer/better). Great day/night, fuck it was cold afterwards though..

Muscles was fucking terrible, sounded like he put a CD on halfway thru, sound quality was shit.

Digitalism, 360, Hilltops, with hilltops the highlight.

favourite week of the year, Bday then gtm.

the downside of GTM each year is catching all the complete dumb shit red p platers that were driving further south that fremantle for the first time...

yes Glen. i saw you at the event too, but you disappeared.

mc68 - i had road rage the whole drive down, apparently driving in the same lane for 2km is not allowed, you must do an unnecessary lane change every 2 keys. and indicate as you turn....
