What i want to do is, pressed the old gear out of the shaft. and put the new gear which are sitting next to it, In to the same position as is before.

Did tried with the 3 tonne press, it didnt budge :s

If any one could hook me up or able to help me with it that would be great!

*ignore titles, its fidly when you post with mobile phone ahahaha

You're going to need heat for the new gear as well, a bearing heater works wonders, where are you located?

SOR, Willetton.

Also I would suspect putting it together is the hardest bit with out bending the shaft :S

Drop the shaft in the freezer for an hour or two if you dont have access too liquid nitrogen, If you warm the gear as Brett suggested and cool the shaft down it'll either fall together or need very little force too press the gear on.
