This is a casual get together and an opportunity for me to break my car prior to AL29. I will probably run an old map out of sheer laziness.

Was a good night out apart from bulk traffic for 11pm. Map night need a midnight start or to be run on a weekday.

Was a fun night out, first hills section was great(even with my eyes stinging from a evo!), some cool cars to see.

Would drive map again ;)

How much damage did the balance spit do ? why did it decide to go it alone ?

Balancer Didn't do too muh damage in the bay, fucked the front left tyre pretty good as I went over it. Hoping it hasn't fucked the rim.

Not sure whether it unwound itself or sheered the spokes in the middle as it has done once before.

Was a late night, dean came all the way from Rocko to pick me up which was much appreciated. Cheers mate. And to those that pulled up etc. wasn't been rude by waving people on, just wasn't keen on a large number of cars if the cops turned up.

Will put a couple of pics up after the f1 of the mess it made of the road and my tyre.

For the owners of the white 34R in the hill, if you guys are NOT confident with keeping up with everyone else, PULL OVER and let the people who CAN drive PAST you. Don't sit there like fucking dickheads holding everyone up for the entirety of the hills section because you have no driving ability. I wasn't one of the people you held up but there were a lot of irate people complaining about it and rightly so. This was a performance cruise, driving ability as well as vehicle.

^cheers for hanging round adam, hazard triangle ftw lol and finding most of the parts that came off. was very handy actually as it highlighted a hole in the timing cover i wouldnt have noticed if there wasnt a chunk of aluminium i couldnt place.

Thanks for the run, enjoyed the urban legs and unfortunately had to pull off on the decent to the weir with a blown radiator hose...honest ...its not like me and rich wanted some quiet time back alley time in the hair dresser mobile!

Thanks to Steve for coming out to recover us and I took Rich up on his offer to pull the all nighter to get it fixed. Managed to dodgy up some new hose from some supra spares and got it fixed at 1:45 am ...then had to get up at 5:15 to get both cars up to Barbs for the hiill climb.
