-Performance cars only. This means Performance cars only. 6 cylinder Falcons need not apply, or V6 Commodores, unless turbo/sc etc.

-No music at meet points

-Revving cars at meet point is gay. You should be ashamed if you think its cool.

-No neons

-No coming to the cruise with belts hanging out your tyres - you wont be getting a map.

-No stupidity - if you fuck around and do stuff which any normal member of society would call stupid - we will ask you to leave/pass details on/etc. As one long term member found out last cruise, we WILL find out who you are and take action. We are a car club, not a bunch of scum. Brockas will be filming!

-Drive within the limits of yourself, car, other road users. It is a cruise not a race. If you cannot read a map, bring someone who can.

-This is not JDM WA. We will not be standing around talking shit for hours. We are here to cruise. There WILL be speedhumps, and bumpy as fuck roads. If you cant handle this due to ride height or stance, dont come.

Exactly, it makes 0 difference how you first drive it to how it affects the way it works, never bedded in a single clutch, even when doing truck clutches, they go in, they get about 50 tonne of shit jammed behind then straight away!

Gave him the measurements then he sent me the shims to set it up.. he specifically told me what I said above.. full load is fine but hard shifting was a no no till I had done some Kms to get the best out of it.. since I'm no clutch specialist I just figured I would do what he recommended.

If it can take full load no worries, it can take hard shifting, hard shifting will actually be better for it as you are actually slipping it less!
He's covering his arse so if it does break he can say he told you not to abuse it straight up, which is fair on his part. But in the end it won't make any difference.

i took today off to get the car finished.. now thats commitment.. unfortunately though the air intake on the new turbo is bigger and moved positions and the intake i have is no good and the one i had made up is no good as it doesn't clear my power steering pump. sort out my air intake swap my power steering lines and radiator bolt up my exhaust and hopefully be their tonight!

first time i have rocked up to a cruise in a long time. Noticed there currently seems to be 2 directions when modifying a street cars at the mo, either have a super clean car or go to the complete opposite and make your car look as shitty and bunky as possible. There was some fuckin piece of shit lookin cars at the meet point.

Knew the bikes battery was dodgy but decided to chance it anyway, started fine all night except at Karinyup. After sitttin for another 10min it fired up fine.

Great cruise, loved it.

Only had one rage moment all night. There was a white Corolla with some stickers on it, went through the hills and held up about 40 cars. Massive queue behind them and the ute behind it wouldn't overtake.

Before we got to the hills, the same corolla would do 90 in a 100 zone, then when we got to an overtaking lane they'd do 110. WTF?

If you want to come along and check out the real performance cars then knock yourself out, its a free world. Being stuck behind a white ute that was holding a bunch of people up was a bit annoying but it was great to hear the comments from the Evo behind me that my whale of a skyline was looking pretty composed. Look forward to getting back up that way again soon, the traffic light gp's get very tedious, not much fun simply burying the throttle over and over.

good to hear you had no drama, i have always been a bit apprehensive about attending a car cruise on a bike. HIDs are on the list for mods on my bike and a clear visor for my helmet haha.
