Just registering my interest in beef roasts... at least 1kg a fortnight. Workmate of mine is also on the bandwagon of cooking a roast for the week.

SAME hook us up with some beef roast cliff.
Bring back dark intention
My old man does cooked and sliced roasts, can do salads etc as well. Or just rolled roasts if you want to cook them yourself.

What sort of beef? I did a GB a while back on primal cuts of fillet (2.5-3kg) and scotch fillet (5-6kg a cut)

Cheaper then you'd buy anywhere else :p I'll see if I can still get it, my issue is it needs to be collected as soon as I get it, because I don't have the facilities to store it.

2.5 - 3kg is the size im after. I'd be more keen to get a kg price rather that stuffing about. I just bought a cheap one then from iga. a topside blade. bought a pocket roast last week. im really clueless with it tbh - trying to get my skills up before investing in quality cuts.
Anyone know any good simple marinades?

How about a 2kg Veal Rump dressed with fresh cream, mild seeded mustard, field mushrooms and slow roasted in a moisture infused oven, dressed and served with an orange and beef bourguignon based thick rich gravy?
