I'm headed up to Steep Point in a few months and googled "steep point sail fish" to see what the likely hood of catching one would be. This was one of the first results I got.

Good catch dude, you must have been stoked to land that.

Some people have all the luck! Hate to think how many hours you have put in catching fuck all to achieve those results.

Love the "Game Chair" in the Saily vid.

Awesome catch!! I've Been to the point once with a bloke who had been going for over 20yrs and it was the worst fishing he or any locals had ever experienced up there. Still had fun and got a few decent fish.

haha cheers guys, yeah there is so much i can talk about and there is alot more i cant and wont talk about legal and illegal back in the hardcore days.
Im really lucky im still alive thats all i can say. Just about been killed in bad situations over 5 times, knives pulled on me countless times in locko, been bashed a few times. washed off the rocks while fishing, fractured my skull etc most stuff no one would belive, thats why now i carry my camera with me 24/7

Saved a total of 4 lives up to date, seen a murder, seen brutal assults list goes on and on all day long.
My advise to anyone who wants a similer life is get out as much as possible, holidays holidays holidays. I head out bush 4-5 times a yeah and im never home on the weekends allways driving around fishing and with the camera. Just keep an eye on whats going on around you ar all times.
Must write a book someday ;)

Yeah you will fall in love with the place although i must say that it doesnt feel quite the same as it did back then. These days there is to much agro and to packed out. When we used to go we sometimes had the whole cliff to ourselves.

These days everyone waits so long t get there and fights arise because everyone wants the prime spot (The faultline)

The last time i went up we camped at shelter bay and went around the point by boat. It was really nice but nothing beats flicking baits and lures off the cliff and landing a gamefish off a cliff is much more rewarding. just dont fall off hhaha

This is one location you dont want to get hurt, no help for a long way away
