I got it today, I'm a lvl 14 Gunzerker atm. I think the Gunzerker is no way near as good as the Berserker from the first game though, hes also not as fun to play and is a shit tank :/ I've got a character that is designed to run and gun and I've put every skill point and stat bonus point into health/regen/shield/etc and yet the second I step out to dual wield I get dropped and have to be saved by my crew. I miss the days of running out and punching the shit out of mobs with no fear of being downed!

Loving this game.

Just got rickroll'd by a dying psycho: "Never.. gonna.... give you up..." The voice acting in general is very good I think. Some of the things characters say has literally had me laughing out loud, gf thinks I'm weird :p but hey, she thought that anyway.


Very good improvement on the first game IMO. Quite a few annoying things from the original are fixed.

I saw something funny last night, I heard this guy yelling and walked over to him and he just starts shouting "SHOOT ME IN THE FACE< DO IT DO IT" and I accepted the mission and then the objectives came up as "1.Shoot him in the face 2. Do it 3. Shoot him" or something like that lol, then I shot him in the face and he died and I got some award "Well that was easy". I looked it up an apparently it was a bit of a play on a lot of the borderlands 1 reviews that said that the game was too easy and all you do is just walk around shooting guys in the face.

Here's a tip for anyone playing this on a PC with a crossfire/SLI setup: apparently this game doesn't really run in "fullscreen mode" at default... some sort of weird windowed mode that's still full screen. A lot of people have found that their second card was doing nothing no matter what they tried......


Until they press alt+enter in-game. All of a sudden, PC realises it's fullscreen and crossfire/SLI gets kicked into life. The application profile was trying to bring it online the whole time but the game's weird not-sure-if-fullscreen-ness wasn't letting it :)



Not sure if this has been fixed/patched yet, but something to think about / double check if you are running a 2+ card PC.

First I've heard of a glitch like that man! Sucks to hear; try 'forum-ing' that shit somewhere like this (http://www.overclock.net/t/1086432/borderlands-2-information-discussion) if it keeps up, someone might have a fix for you.

Only glitch I had was I got stuck in the elevator part between the bunker and Angel.

Searched everywhere to find out how to get the fuck out as there are no exits unless someone destroys the bunker and opens the door.

Then I thought, what if I just let the lift crush me so I can respawn.

Worked. 30 mins wasted.

I just rocket launcher at a wall until death if I get stuck somewhere (happened to me one time so far). That or grenade the floor with everything you have.

I had a glitch on the last story mission last night. You, Brick and Mordecai storm a vault except its full of bugs. First time Brick is supposed to jump into this shuttle with modercai except on my game mordecai was left floating at the start of the map and so brick just stood on the shuttle throwing his hammer at guys. When I restarted the map they would help me fight the first load of guys and then stand there and it wouldn't trigger the script for them to keep running. I restarted the game and it fixed it luckily, however I did gain like 2 levels from repeatedly playing the same mission.

I past the main story last night at lvl 30 and I wouldn't recommend trying it unless you are around 30-31 as the final boss is level 31 and he is near on impossible playing by yourself. Luckily I managed to find a pot he couldn't hit me and wedged myself in then used every bit of ammo I had and then would have to gunzerk to replenish ammo because he can almost 1 hit kill you ( and I have 6000 shield and 5000 health). Like all bosses if you are playing solo and respawn he gets full life again. it took about 20-30 minutes of contant shooting at him with pretty high level purpo weapons to take him down. It looks like there is plenty to do after the game, Mordecai still gives you new missions and you can play through in a new game + mode to level to 50 and get better loot and there is also a lvl 50 boss you can get to if you have 24 eridium.

I don't have a SLI or crossfre set up and yet it would not run in full-screen. I am just running it in window mode for now fml. Still ok once you get started. I am running a NVidia GTX470 and I updated to the latest drivers.

What's your CPU? Or more specifically, do you have Lucid Virtu or anything similar installed/enabled? I have heard of that software causing issues in more than a few games..



Also, I have a tip for anyone who hasn't already figured this out. This works with the Gunzerker, not sure about the other classes. With the volatile rock monster things (can't remember what they're called :p), run around them and punch them once in each leg. They are too slow to hurt you much and often you can do this without even being hit once. I killed the big blue one in 3 hits this way (1 hit each leg). :)


Hope that helps someone :) because I have seen a lot of gameplay videos of people burning rockets and grenades and all manner of ammo on these. They aren't easy to kill any other way :)

I have a i7 with 14gb of ram and running the game off of a SSD. Not running Lucid or anything like that. << what is that?

The i5 build (http://www.antilag.com/forums/showthread.php?55636-Ivy-Bridge-i5-HD7850-SSD-budget-gamer-build-photo-log&highlight=) I just did demanded I auto instal it, which I did thinking it was probably a good thing. Now I'm not so sure, but I'll see if the owner has any issues with it.

I downloaded the game from Steam and it installed through there once I activated the code. I have a slight suspicion it may be something to do with the fact its 32 bit and I am running windows 64bit? I am not that savy with computers but I also thought if the game did install a 32bit version it wouldnt even run on my 64bit system.

Lol this guy! Mr 11 levels in 2 hours. If a lower level player is with you while you're playing higher level content, they get the full xp you'd general receive yourself. Great way to power level like a boss however you miss a lot of the story line because you're rushing through. I'd say this would be better for levelling alts but it doesn't hurt helping a mate out :) currently lvl 43 commando in vault hunter mode

Just defeated that level 52 boss at level 33. I am practically Jesus.

But really I just used a trainer and smashed up all my badass points to 5000%. Doesn't affect the character permanently as when you quit the game and join again it's all back to normals. I want the game to still be challenging when I stop fucking around. But it is so funny shooting 1000 rockets a minute from 2 rocket launchers, doing hundreds of thousands of points in damage and it still taking a few tries to kill the son of a bitch. The amount of damage that thing must do is ridiculous. Keen to get up to level 50 and take it on properly.

Finished the story legit, no hax. Cool game. Keen to try vault hunter mode.
