Went there and it was alright, lots of nice cars.
Cops were driving through the crowd and at the end of the street there were 5 cop cars pulling people over who were coming and going and I imagine there would be a few yellows being handed out.

the cops walked around handed out yellow stickers, had cars at either end of the street as you were leaving, 1 cop car just parked up doing what looked like taking down rego's.
But im not at all surprised, there was a lot of shitters.
other than that, good weather so was alright walking around looking at the quality cars :)

My highlight car was the 180SX with a sicker bombed front bumper and a rusted bonnet with 3 angle grinder hand cut "vents" that had been bent up with a pair of pliers - there were a few nice cars but a LOT of shitboxes.

If we weren't window shopping to see if there were any decent EVO's on sale for PoktRokt, I wouldn't have bothered.......you just knew that there was going to be cop issues.

Any meet that has over 1000 people commenting on a facebook page for a few weeks will attract police. Yeah it sucks that people got yellows but that is what you risk by coming to these...

Nevertheless, I had a wicked time except the entrance hill scraping. Plenty of VIP cars coming out of the woodwork today too!

I didnt think there was any issues with the cops. Only people I saw that got stopped by the cops were people speeding or doing skids. one cop car parked up in the car park and the cops (fairly junior looking) walked through the car park checking out cars. Didnt write down plates, didnt hand out stickers. There was 2 cop cars driving up and down most of the day but left everyone in the car park alone. One cop car parked up on the verge and watched most of the cars leave. Everyone behaved and he never pulled anyone over. Cant really ask for any less police presence than that with so many cars.

lots of people were I guess speeding down the road towards teh round about as it was a 50km zone - coped a fined then a yellow

overall was ok same ole cars... carpark entry is another story

I may have the term confused. There is some form of 'style' with rat rods which is their form of stickerbombing. Leaving one or multiple panels to be rusty as fuck. That could be my only explanation.

It may not be a rat rod, but old mate isn't wrong in saying it's styled on rat rods.

I wrote decent $$$ on a rat rod style VW kombi ute at the Hot Rod show just gone. Looked like shit by my books, but apparently, thats whats up.

Old mates 180 certainly isn't a rat rod, but that's the style. It just happens to be gayer than aids.

As rich said cops were fine. Two walked through having a gander with no malice at all which is always great to see.

People who did get stickered probably got a sticker for legit reasons and hey so be it.

There was a cop with a radar north of the car park in the 50 zone but with families having picnics around that area during the day so if you were speeding and dropping skids there, you are a knob in any case.
