Apparently there was huge errors with the timing system last night, so maybe that extended to the reaction timing as well?? I haven't been down this seaqson yet myself, so only going off motorplex website updates & facebook statuses.

wouldnt have been worth the drive last night mate, it was farking packed. i presume that ppl were taking time off from powercruise as there was quite a few cars with powercruise stickers on windows.

i got there just before 6pm. unloaded and didnt get first run till after 7 as scrutineering was packed. (i ate dinner in the car while waiting, lol)

as for timing, it was fine, the track clock was out though. i.e saying runs were at 16hrs and not 20:08hrs etc.

Dad's car is now quicker mph wise to mine now, but we were both running 10.3's. I broke blower/engine belts on one run against the police drag car car but still won. :-p

i think i got 4 or 5 runs in total though, was quicker getting runs after burnouts as per norm.

yeah ok i think there system is a bit fucked....i suspect some of my times were wrong, the staginging beams were being very touchy and i got -0.400 reaction time 4 or 5 times.... -0.400 exactly, fuck i must be consistant !!

He was running 10.80's last season, before the intake changes he made over the off season. I daresay he would've run quicker than 10.9X... Must've slept on the line.

That would be fine at WAW without anyone having to give you the go ahead. Just make sure it's safe (tyres/brakes/seatbelts/harness etc etc so that they pass it in scrutineering.

Tow the car down and when you get there swap number plates from the tow car onto the car you want to race, its not like they have a dpi computer to check up the details.

if you have an andra license then i wouldnt worry about it. even if you didnt, its hihgly unlikely they would knock you back providing the car is sound safety wise. i.e brakes work and its not leaking fluids. which with the money invested in the motor/trans definetly isnt.
