I am chasing a set of RSR's for the up coming time attack events and I just wanted to see if anybody here knows of or has any good tyre hookups that can help me out. I am considering ordering them from Option 1 in QLD but depending on freight times they may not make it in time.

I would also be keen on any of the other semi's / R comps in either the 15" or 16" range.

Thanks!

I got mine from westy's warehouse.

My dad runs 205/50r15's (RSR's) on his and I think they were about the same price as mine which are 205/50r16 for $180 a tyre (also rsr's). Pretty decent tyres IMO

He also deals with Toyo r1r's at a similar price.

Another option is wheel world has a sale on a048's in 16 inch for 190 a tyre. That's some sticky rubber right there!

Gary call Aaron aka Westy. He priced me up at a significantly cheaper price than what I paid for my RS-R's. Unfortunately he didn't have stock at the time and I had a puncture on my run flats so had to change it ASAP.

+1 for Westy. Cheap and the bonus of helping out a local aspiring small business / AL member.

+1 for Westy, great guy and good for a chat while he's changing your rubber over.

Although if wheels world has A048's for less than $200, jump on that! think we paid about $1300 for a set of 14" for the micra, but fuck they are sticky!

Thanks for the feedback. Will give Westy another call later on.

While the A048's are a great price the UTQG is showing as 60 and Street Car Limit is 120.

he works nights and has a young family, I find its best to txt or email him first then ring once he replies.

shame about the wear rating, if you werent fussed about where you placed, just wanted a relatively cheap daytime track day they would be perfect.
