Been a big fan of the guy for a year now took wasn't into him right away but it wasn't long till he made me think he's on biggies and pacs level or even better, and 98% of my iPod is 80-90s hip hop the guy is the best.

I've been listening to his new album for a few days now which is his first label album with interscope he has changed his lyrics a bit not as raw but still however the best out there.

If you haven't listened to him before I suggest you get every song he's been apart of I've yet to here an average verse most of his shit is next level oh yeah and get black hippys album which is a hip hop group kendrick is in.

I've never seen any music at the Astor (comedy gigs etc. only) but i'd imagine it will be pretty good, unique location, great sound, a little more intimate..

Great show the guy is a beast, sometimes I found the beats and his voice were drowned out by the massive amounts of bass other than that I was glad to see him very much, good crowd go atmosphere good night.
