Have been looking into turbo upgrade for the EVO, anyone used one of the BW turbos yet ?

Lots of results on the net with evos running 7670s & 8374s, a few listed on full-races site.
Unfortunately the slow production has meant not a lot of results are out there, especially in oz, but I'm yet to see anyone that is disappointed with the performance.
Yes there were some failures early on (18-24 months ago), but that no longer seems to be an issue.

I really want to get my hands on an EFR8374 for my 32R, but I'm a little off put by the casting changes to the ex housing recently.

Yes have read a bit on EVO M, the other turbo that seems to perform well on a 2.0L is the HKS 7460, stock like spool and an extra 40-50hp, they are a little fragile. The other bonus is they are a bolt on so no need for manifold, external Wg etc.

The problem I have is the car is 2.0L so it conforms to Targa rules so the power curve is always going to shift left i.e. LAG, so I need to find the best compromise.

Is the internally wastegated 7670 TS .92 to small for the motor?
Less things to buy/break/plumb-in with IWG

Yes saw the IWG option, I'm currently around 400hp on ASG hub dyno on E85 and car is light so it is a good combo, I think to really make use of a bigger turbo and have stock like spool I need to increase the CC to a 2.2L the problem is $$$, I think the ultimate setup would e 2.2L with the BW 7670 twin scroll, it would be a weapon.

I think the HKS may be a good compromise as it is simply a turbo and tune, assume the BW would require a fair bit more stuffing around ?

COMMON POWERBALL !
