oil warning comes up...
im thinking ok oil pressure switch as with all ls1s
then i hear the top end drying up and clattering hard
anyways full of oil
no big end knock sounds
but definately no oil pressure to heads
anyway to check if its a pump failure??
or possible other issues??
its a vy ss ute with 100 xxxkm
cammed, 4:11s manual

most likely oil pressure relief valve stuck.
time to start stripping it down.

Easy job you will smash it in a few hours worst part is the balancer. Most cam install DIY write ups will get you to where u need to be.

It's not too bad man, hardest part is putting the balancer on and off the crank man, if you're handy with a hammer, you'll be sweet.

Have seen far less problems with the genuine pumps than meiling, you can just take yours out and replace the spring and seat or just clean it out.
