Hi Everyone...
Seems like a bit of a silly question but does anyone know of a place or anyone that sells some sort of wall mounted racking for wheels / tyres by any chance?
I need to free up some room in my garage...
Cheers

I know tire rack do one for about $120 / $130 - shipping would probably suck though.
At my other place, I used to have an old bench like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v709/wombat01/7628b93f-9911-4822-98a7-3ea3b2f102aa_zpsf63fe95c.jpg
and I removed the top and the tyres slotted nicely in the gap. You could turn it upside down and attach it to the wall for the same kind of effect I guess? Or get someone on here to weld you up something similar?

I couldn't find anything locally and shipping was going to be a killer ex US so I settled on industrial type shelving.

Much better use of space than the narrow & short Bunnings shelves. Can stack a set of tyres per level and store bumpers etc on top.

I've got a couple of KHUMO tyre racks at home, hold 8 rims/tyres and it was the best thing I've ever put in my shed. Can supply dimensions if you wanted to knock some up of your own.
Just bought some long span racking from global machinery in Osborne park. Comes in 3 different heights 5 different widths and 3 different depths. The 600mm depth holds a set of tyres perfectly. You can buy as many or has few shelves as you want. Quality ie pretty good too.

might be worth talking to a local steel fabricator, might be able to get something custom made to your requirements for around the same price as commercial shelving.
