Incar from the United Oil RX7
Had a shocker! Car had wild turn in oversteer and brake issues.
I was trying to conserve the brakes by releasing early, but this made the car run in a bit hot. Didn't help much as the pedal was getting longer and longer. Had complete brake failure at Kolb, pedal went straight to the floor. However I think this was caused by running wide at turn 5 and hitting the ripple strip, the pistons in the caliper rattled back.

Anyway, thats enough of the excuses, here is the evidence :-)

Nice video and driving as ever Ash. That ripple strip is nasty, though I managed to keep my brakes after giving it a go.
Love the Hollinger box...but can't come up with the cash to go dog box transaxle myself!
Rallysprint in march? C'mon, it will be great to see and hear if you did.

Was bloody hard to drive, nasty setup and stinking hot. I should have known better, that strip has caught me out before.
Great gearbox, needs a better shifter, that one is a cut down V8 Supercar shifter. Now it requires way to much force to shift.
Think about the Rally Sprint, but I dont have any R Comps. It wouldn't be very fast in a Rally Sprint!

Hmm, no fun on a hot day for sure. I was out having a picnic in Kings Park on Sat and that was bad enough without strapping into a hot suit and car.
Rallysprint - well I can give you a 50 cent shaped front R comp after last weeks flat spotting effort, so that's one tyre... Also got two rear tyres that are on the tread wear limiters and I've got two new ones sitting next to my desk at work waiting to be fitted, so there is two more. 235 and 275 17's. So you just need one more! Not sure you'd be that slow at Rallysprint, but is my only chance to beat you, so how 'bout it?

If you did get some treaded rubber and a taller diff would be good to give it a run at Racewars too...

Cheers mate. Wasn't nice to drivein that race. Way to much front aero and baddly lacked rear grip.
It has been the fastest in that field, I have done 58.5 (long track) in it. But no where near that time in that race. Still almost had the pace to get the job done.
