very rarely we get this issue where when the car is cold (especially on a day like today), its very sluggish/almost total loss of power - like the accelerator pedal is dead electrically -
when this happens the speedo stops working too
when this happened last time the battery terminal was pretty badly corroded, i cleaned it up & the problem went away - just had a look and the corrosion is coming back, so the combination of that & the cold weather seems to be the trigger for this.
i think i need to check fault codes if anyone has a obd2 (?) reader & wants payment for its use :)
anyone have any ideas?
surely the electrical systems should be a bit more resilient to a bit of corrosion than this - not to mention the safety aspect of losing power on a busy road etc.
