Leave from Cannington loop thru the back of Kala, Roleystone, Araluen, out to Jarrahdale over serpentine dam back down and left onto Sth West Hwy, Refuel at BP then up the hill (250kph+ sweeper ;) ) up the hill to dwellingyup, thru dwellingyup down the hill then pub stop in Waroona or return up the same way and pub stop in dwellingyup.
Awesome fun roads that u will spend very little time going in a straight line on and some pretty challenging corners and elevation changes. The best part is you are generally out of the public eye and as a result little if any police presence. Another advantage is it will weed out the ones who want to drive and the ones who want to pose.

Sure enough, broke a gearbox. Completely unrelated to power, just a standard maintenance issue (shift fork broken). Organising quotes now to ship the box to the USA and get it built for 900+whp.


On another note, was a fucking awesome cruise. That second leg was epic. Few highlights that I either heard about or witnessed:

1. Kangaroo jumping towards TJ's car, he swerves to miss it, throws his arm out to push it away from the car as instinct, ends up yokking a roo at 80km/h.
2. Some random member of the public in an old falcon trying to turn right while 100+ of us drive past and subsequently make him wait. What does he do? A large burnout.
3. A bunch of cars going past a cop car at an intersection, cop decides to do a swift u-turn and pursue... cop car understeers into a pole. Lol's ensue.
4. I break down in a carpark unrelated to the cruise. For some reason, lots of people rock up for 'moral support' (aka to laugh). Skids occur... so many in fact that random crack-heads rock up to watch the burnouts.

First big cruise I've gone out on since 2008 had an absolute ball with two fuckhead mates pilled in to the back of a shitbox rental car.

A big thanks to Tocchi for locking the keys in the bloody thing while it was still running, ZZM5 for sticking around to help us and Alex for finally getting the pingpingpingping open while the BMW man ginned around.

2 leg was brilliant, sitting in right behind TJ for the roo incident was fucking hilarious. Got a bit of confidence up again on the 3rd leg but the car started packing up :( Such is life.

Some big skids were delivered enroute to visit Paul after his box died.
