Shimming a live axle diff?

Is it possible like an IRS diff?

To be honest, I've only ever worked on a few and that was many years ago, so didn't even think of this shit back then, it was weld and off you go.

It's for my Pathfinder, I'll be shimming the front as it's IFS.

yeah i had my hilux diffs done before i could afford lockers. pretty easy job for a mechanic
