that price would get you a 4.8 patrol, much better engine than the tb45 and heaps more grunt.
4.5 100 would be a live axle 105, baby front diff to be careful of but i've always been a fan of them.
i don't like jeeps, my brother has spent thousands on his wrangler (not on mods, just repairs) and can't sell it.
rb25... never driven one off road but i've driven cars with shit low down torque off road and it's not fun, abuse the clutch time.

a 4.8 GU is definitely the best of your list, if you can get your hands on a TI you'll get a factory rear locker too.

Those factory rear locker aren't very strong I would still use a aftermarket one

was a 2005 td42 with all the fruit on ebay, started at $0 with no reserve, ended up going for 28k, someone got a damn steal with that.
