Car stolen, Keep your eyes peeled.

Posting this on behalf of a friend of mine, I know its been posted via the antilag Facebook, be he has asked if I could post on the actual forum

Hi there, I am the owner of the stolen R34 GTR VSpec in Perth which happened early morning on the 13/10/13 in the Winthrop/Melville area. Car was taken away from my driveway without breaking in to my house for car keys, in fact car keys are still with me. It had recently been spotted this morning 5.40am heading north towards Bullsbrook and at 7am this morning at Dog Swamp BP petrol station for a refuel. Could I please have everyone's help here to have a look out for my car, I have made a police report however they are very slow and showed lack of interest in locating my stolen car.

For those of you familair with the vehicle you would know about the money that was put into this vehicle. Lets do what we can to get it back to its owner!!!

Id say it was towed away from his house. The thing is loud as fuck, so would have woken up the house if it was started and driven off.

Also he has both keys, and there is a bit of a trick to getting it started too. Id say it was towed somewhere then started.

Such a nice car and a shame to be stolen, no doubt a dodgy prick came to take a look one day as a "buyer"

from comments on fb, keys werent taken and the the owner didnt hear it drive off. must have been loaded onto a trailer :(

Serious question here and hindsight is a beautiful thing but why the would you not spend a couple of hundred bucks on a GPS tracker for a car you've spent a truckload modifying. They aren't perfect but it's better than nothing.

Hi guys, thank you for the kind words...just an update, the car is still not yet found...just waiting for the police to have a look at the cctv video at Dog Swamp BP which was spotted on the 14/10/13 7am refuelling.

I am trying to be as positive as I can though at the back of my mind it is very doubtful my car will be retrieved in 1 piece, but all I can do now is hope for the best that it will. Thanks for everyone's effort to share on fb, word of mouth or on any kind of medium...it is very much appreciated!!!!

Thanks TJ, it's not about the money...just the effort that I have spent building it, I would not want to see it being abused, I still would want to get the car back

I Hope you find it. FYI I have my old iphone hooked up inside my car as the main media player etc. i locked the phone with a password and installedfind my phone, seeing as though people go looking for gps trackers and the phone is always 100% i think thats a good way to make sure you can find your car if it gets nicked.
