Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H
A8 5600K
CoolerMaster Hyper T4 cooler
2x4GB G.Skill Ripjaws X (F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL)
Corsair VS450 PSU
2TB 7200RPM Toshiba HDD
Windows 8



This is the first socket FM2 build I have done. I chose the AMD platform primarily to keep costs down, and it seems like an impressive system so far considering there's no dGPU in sight. Instead of opting for a cheap graphics card, we chose to keep it without one to eliminate wastage further down the track. If in a few months he wants to add a 7850 or something he will end up with what I'd consider to be a neat little entry-level gamer.
