B16B Motor, Gearbox, Loom and ECU

Planning on starting a build soon and have my eye on a shell already and looking for a decent motor setup to put in.

I have looked around perth and cant find anything or only glass pipe prices for motors that have been sitting for 3yrs.

Importing is looking like the easiest solution but thought I would check all avenues and see if anyone has anything lying around for sale.

B16b is like looking a needle in haystack in Aus let alone in perth. Best to speak to KYP they do bring ek9 cuts in time to times.

Yea i have hence the Glass pipe price comment.

I dont feel like paying 6k for a nose cut thats missing shit and has been there for 3 years.

when i can import a motor and box for a little over 2k

I used import monster if i could not get hold of jessestreeter fast enough. Their pricing are reasonable but also depends on sizing.

Their online calc pretty much almost spot on. Usually its cheaper to ship if you have combined items

As for swaps
Me and evilutions had done many swaps in eg and ef platform :)

Im looking at doing a mild EG track toy. I started building one a few years ago but had to get rid of it as i was moving and want to get another and start again.

If your on budget b18c2 package is the cheapest route. As currently we have b18c2 swapped eg as our track toy. And Note we are too on budgets... Hahahaha

Plan is a B16B swap into EG, mild cam, intake manifold upgrade ( ITBs or Blox or similar) Tri Y headers and a hondata S300.

Thats engine wise then its just coilovers camber arms and some fat tyres.

Planning to run most of interior as will probably end up being a daily for a while...

How much do the B18c2 with box and stuff go for these days?

Complete stock B18c2 box engine somewhere in range of 1500 to 2500 and about add 1000 to be bolted on and turn key to efi civics.

We are unloading the b18c2 if u keen. Can give you contacts to our mech.
Coz we did swap deal with him for new power plant :)

Because failing b18c2 or b16b my next choice will be a b16a2 or similar from japan.
