Dear All,

Posting on behalf of a colleague who is about to get a 2inch lift kit installed 'including shocks all round', on their 4B.

Is it common for people to be told to come back after a few weeks of instalation to get a wheel alignment done?

Cheers,

I don't know if it's common practice or not but it makes sense. When you lift the car two inches its probably more like 3inches intitially and drops down to 2. While it's changing height it can effect the alignment settings. So it makes sense to leave it for a week or two before an alignment to get the best results.

Yes, as it gives the kit time to settle and drop a little so the wheel alignment will be more accurate.
