DO NOT CHANGE TO CUSTOM WHEELS

A bug has been identified that changes the wheel width of rear tyres to the same as the fronts if custom wheels are fitted. Until the problem is patch please keep the standard wheels fitted.

An example of the rear tyres on two lambos - one with standard wheels, the other with custom fitted.

I think I'll need to perform some maintinence to the old pedals. I've got a dodgy accelerator (bounces off full throttle even though my foot is flat), similar to the sticky brake pedal. Can't afford to lose those precious tenths of a second with u guys!

Open the pedals an spray the hell out of the pontentiometers with electrical cleaner. Rotate the pots full range while still wet and that should do the job.

Awesome, thanks. So I don't need to fully disassemble like shown here ?

I fixed my G25 pedals just with the spray about two years ago. Been fine since.

Also fixed my old Driving Force Pro pedals the same way.

Brockas

Only person that "glitched" if you can call it that was Ray! :) I also did find voice quite glitchy, not being funny, but it was most evident from Brockas.

Interesting. Voice worked perfectly for me for everyone except Ray. He was cutting in and out all night.

Well, you did sell your RWD car because it scared you.

Couldn't join the room last night, even after multiple attempts.
Was receiving an unable to join, "room is full" error even though it showed there were 9/16 people in the room.
No problems joining other rooms, just MGR's!

Probably a bugged room. Game still has plenty of little issues to iron out.

We only use default tyres, so Sports Hard for these examples. Plus you have to push 100% online because you're not dealing with dummy AI. It's inevitable that most will have an off or two throughout the evening.

Those videos are just a couple of bits I threw together based on stuff that happened from memory. There's probably heaps of other incidents and battles in the field but it just takes too long to record and edit.

Bah, struggled with assigning a DMZ. Any ideas? When I put the PS3's static IP into my iiNet Bob Lite router it comes up with an error "The public address is invalid".

FranZ
10-01-2014, 08:03 AM
What address were you putting into the DMZ and what is the IP address of your PS3 and the Bob lite?

[Jacek]
10-01-2014, 09:58 AM
Bob is 10.1.1.1
PS3 i set to 10.1.1.54
And was putting 10.1.1.54 into Bob's DMZ. Problem is Bob has Public and Client sections in it's DMZ, tried both separately and then together and the same message appeared? Not sure what the difference is between public/client? Also the IP that is automatically generated in Bob's #1 DMZ "slot" is a 19X.XXX.X.XXX format, where i'm trying to assign a 10.X.X.XX format - is that anything significant? The PS3 was originally assigned 10.1.1.4 when it was automatic. Though the first time I tried assigning a 19X.XXX.X.XXX format IP to the PS3 and to the DMZ and the same error message came up.

I think Bob is just shit, lots of posts of whirlpool with the same problem.

Side notes: I'm not an IT guy so all of these things mean nothing to me, though I do understand what I'm trying to do I think!

My DMZ is annoying so I just turn on the PS3, find the IP and then input that into the router DMZ. Have to do it every time but it's easier than setting up a static IP :)

Thanks Simon, I might try that next time :)

Edit: Ok got it sorted!
