Hey guys the ignition barrel is stuck and won't turn on my VZ. Apparently this is a common problem I was just looking for advice for the best person to call to get it fixed. Cheers.

Diamond Lock and Key in Osbourne Park is where I went to mine when my ignition barrel was playing up. I couldn't turn the key from the "lock" to the "acc" or "on" position.

stumps.

Isn't there some kid of trick to get it working momentarily

I think it was hitting the key inward with a small hammer, maybe get someone to confirm before trying

i know how to get it going but it incudes smashing the ignition housing, busting the switch off and a few other things i cant say here but best to do it the right way first

on the topic of ignition barrels, if i got a new one, can it be setup to work with my existing car key or do i have to have a new one?
