Im building a 1956 FE Holden as bit of a 'cruiser, and burn out car

Its got a fully forged balanced Blue motor with hand ported 12 port head etc

Ive built a manualized V8 Traumatic for it, and want to run a kick arse cooler for it

Ive decided to throw the fucked hard lines away, and go flexible lines

What is the easiest and most reliable product?

Should I plumb it from trans to trans cooler to radiator cooler and return to trans to keep at operating temp, or just run directly through the cooler?

Go braided line if you want to bin the hard lines and run direct to a big trans cooler bypassing the radiator :)

Thats the way I would have done it, but on the Commodores now days, you have to run it through the cooler first to knock the bulk heat out of it, then through the radiator to keep it at correct operating temp, or they die pretty quickly.

Wasn't sure if it was like that with the old girls or not - I prefer not to go through the radiator to reduce the risk of getting water in trans if radiator fails.

Bart can I get flash braid in Bunhole at all?? David Nowlands??

Yeah run 3/8 trans cooler line and PWR make decent trans coolers available from repco. CMP stock dash fittings for V8 trimatic if you wanna get fancy
