So Targa South West is on next weekend. Planning to take the RX7 down and bounce it around on some public roads and see how it handles the bumps. We are massively under done. Very little seat time and car prep, so will be just easing our way into it and hope the car holds together and we stay on the road. Main purpose is to develop the car a little for east coast events.

Seems team Old Faithful is go in the Emo along with Will White with Mandy in his emo, Mark Greenham and Steph in...another emo....and Dave Heaton and Searcepipe in a 35. About 31 competition category cars so a fairly small field. And its non competitive anyway...not that it stopped me and a few other binning it in the past. :)

Heading down Saturday for a day of recci and then might take them up on the offer of some competition car recci on the Friday before the event :)

Will try to post up any updates over the weekend.

Yeah
Guy with the beard in the flannel shirt, too many new faces on the weekend to get around to everyone

I have been with GTI for a few years and are one of the guys doing logistics, set up, safety, refuel and anything that isn't mechanical

Simon does my tuning on the racecar in my profile so this is how repay him for doing that

Good selection of cars
3 Evos, 34 GTR, GT4 Celica or the Capri so it should push you out of your comfort zone and give you something else to spanner on

See you down there next Friday

Brief update.
Survived day 1. Had a bit of intercooler hose issues. Result is NA rotangs suck the wang. They need boosts :) Managed to make some suspension change to make it less killdeathy.

Event is really well run. Great job by organisers and volunteers, and seems to be no major incidents.

Can't comment on team Mario bros. Last I saw their support vehicle was up in smoke.......

Bippity boppity

We survived, lasagne and all.

Great weekend, evo was flawless, still some geometry changes needed but its a fast bus. Galvsport were instrumental in keeping us on track.

Joe took to the notes quicker than Mario cracking a fat over Princess Peach!

The Paris Paris chook cooker paints some epic lines. Being straight after them on almost all the runs meant we could breathe in the carcinogenic goodness of the two stroke and lay witness to its tyre frying capabilities. Epic entertainment.

Thoroughly enjoyed TSW15!

Car was spot on, Jme drove really well, everyone was friendly and helpful. Blaise did lots of skids.. epic.

Bring on Targa West!!

Small teaser of how good my co-driving was
