ARMA 3 PC - Who plays it?

Hey lads,
Looking for some info on Arma 3, it looks the biz and seems to be extremely well made. However i have concerns about the volume of players on active servers and the amount of combat one actually takes part in during normal game play?

Any first hand experience good and bad would be good to know.

Done a few single player missions, Do enjoy it. Watch alot of battle royale on twitch, very tactical game.

I would be buying it almost solely for multiplayer, so im a bit worried about the online community not being big enough in AUS.

Did you end up making the purchase? I want to play but also worried about servers or lack thereof.

Didnt end up purchasing in the end. Figured you really need a clan to get the most out of it and i just don't have time :(
