Iron sights FTMFW!!! I really fucking enjoyed BF1942 back in the day, was absolutely the best large scale FPS going at the time, MOH was a close 2nd. The simplicity of the gameplay was always epic and the fact that almost everyones gear was pretty much same was an excellent equalizer.

The fact that they have alluded to the fact that it will be a bit more like BC2 in terms of destroyable environments with exception to some key structures etc is a huge plus for me. The old days of BC2 whereby you had the option of arming an MCOM OR just bringing the fucking building down on top of it meant you always had options.

PS: Also, think Fukushima mentioned in a post elsewhere, C4 horses would be epic.

They did, it was the original 'Battlefield' called 'Battlefield 1942'. Followed by 'Battlefield 2' which was the modern warfare as you see today.

They did, it was called Battlefield 1943 and it was more than a demo or showcase of the engine at the time.

1943 was the Console Remake of 1942 it was better looking etc

FLIR scope is only good when you're looking down it. Rest of the time its a massive scope in the way and you cant see past it. Thats why I stopped using it. ACOG FTW!
