Hello,

The radiator in my gu TD42 patrol died the other week..

Do people usually replace with another stock or is there a well known aftermarket brand that is the go to?

Any directions where to purchase from to keep $$ down would also be greatly appreciated

cheers

Have had 2 ebay radiators fail in the past after less than 6 months in the car both times. Both failed at the welds where the tubes were welded to the end tanks. Both aluminium oversize radiators.

Never seen a stock sized one fail, doesn't mean they don't, just never seen one go, my brothers still running an oversize one I got for my Pathfinder 4 years ago.
Luck of the draw I guess.

yeah I went through 3 ally rads in the space of 2 months( they kept cracking). Bought a heavy duty copper rad from nat rad and never had a problem

The copper brass ones are shit, the tanks are thin and crack/ solder joint pop and leak and are less efficent than the ally one you are about to pull from it. Stick to a koyo.
