Selling my bike so I can buy a road trail as I plan on doing some longer rides this winter.
2014 Yamaha YZ450f
Bought 2nd hand from 5 Star Yamaha in 2015
Believe it to be around 50hrs on motor but there is tool marks on the head bolts so I suspect its had a top end done before I bought it
I Have set this bike up for reliable bush riding with the following mods
New Enduro Tyres F&R
Force Bash plate (also protects water pump)
GYTR Radiator guards
Stegz Pegz
Bark busters (not currently fitted)
-1 on front cog to give the bike a bit more bite at lower revs (great for rocky hills climbs)
new rear cog and chain start of last winter
Radiator overflow bottle
Funnel Web air filter
Retrimmed seat by Munster Motor Trimmers
RHK "Bling" kit
RHK clutch cover (thicker and slightly increased oil capacity)
GYTR Case saver
RHK chain guide
Fold back levers
new grips
new brake pads
Recently changed fork seals and oil
2 sets of plastics (all black and factory)
ECU has been remapped with a Jay Marrmot race map
Air filter cleaned after every ride, oil changed every 2nd ride
Bike is not immaculate as its been ridden not just posed with at the local riding spots but is in good reliable condition and I have had no issue doing 80km round trip day rides out bush.
Price - $4200 negotiable within reason
or swap for a licensed road trail KTM300, KTM 450exc, WR450F. No 250's!!!
