$100
Sunwayman M40A flashlight which has been modified by Vinh Nguyen in the US and then I tweaked it further when it arrived. The driver has been modified for increased current output and the LED has been replaced with a dedomed neutral white Cree XM-L2 U2. Dedoming the LED makes the tint warmer, the beam narrower and drastically increases the throw of the light (distance it will reach) combined with the driver modifications this light significantly outperforms the stock version.

The light runs on 4x standard AA batteries, however for best performance I would recommended to use rechargeable Panasonic Pro AA cells (formally Eneloop XX).

It has 4 modes - Low, Medium, High and Strobe which are changed by turning the magnetic control ring at the base of the head.

The light is in "As New" condition. Whilst it has been used, it hasn't even had one set of batteries fully drained in it since I bought it. There is two tiny marks in the anodizing which were there when I received the light. These can be seen in the first photo above the "Sunwayman" text just under the edge of the bezel.

Comes with box (Signed by Vinh Nguyen) and all original accessories which have not been used.

Can I give you a 4D maglight and get you to spec it up?

The problem with maglites is they are mostly plastic inside which offers nothing in the way of heatsinking. This means that to make anything decent out of them requires custom made internals. Also, it's better to start with a 2D/2C version and convert it to lithium ion.

There is a guy in the US that is developing a copper heatsink for the D size mags. Once they are released I will see what I can do for you.
