Hi

Im looking at getting my Toyota Fortuner lifted in the next couple of weeks and am looking for first hand info on suspension setups. Ironman foam cell pro shocks are fairly cheap, and have some decent reviews online, but ive been told years ago to avoid anything ironman. ANyone using their kit and can comment on what its like?

If i dont go them, im looking at TJM or outback armour, but obviously more expensive meaning less cash for other things (looking at underbody protection and side steps)

Cheers guys and girls for any help

have seen alot of guys on patrol forums using them with great reviews. havent seen any that have shit themselves yet, with lots doing cape trips, gunbarrel and kimberly trips. i have EFS in my patrol at the moment, and will be going the ironman shocks myself soon.

I'm leaning towards the old man emu but they are a bit pricey.

I just got an old man emu front damper, quality looked the same as the repco branded suspension I got for my old Pathy, only reason I got it was I needed it on a pinch as mine got fucked off-road and pissed put fluid. Will get a tough dog replacement.

I'm using Bilsteins on my Hilux. I put a Caloffroad kit through it.
