My 6466 also ate some pieces of metal, sent it back to Precision and had it rebuilt for around the $400 from memory.
Worth doing unless you are looking to upgrade size.

Rotormaster is quoting $1400 to send it back for rebuild .....sure it was $400 ?

Go to Precision direct.
Just found my old invoice, was US$400 shipped, they replaced rear wheel, some seals and washers, and balanced it again.

Freight to the US was about AU$100 from memory.

Did you contact precision first and get rma number or anything ?

I emailed them Monday....still no reply.

I emailed them, was told that I needed to ring them for an RMA, so I picked up the phone and rang.
Got the RMA, sent the turbo with pack & send, few weeks later got an email with a quote, told them to go ahead, few weeks later, invoice emailed, paid it, they sent it back and that was it.
