Launch products.

They do budget stuff too.

Might be able to get away with a Bluetooth OBD2 scanner and an app on your phone (eg Torque). Hit and miss as to which codes can be reset though, but it's definitely the most budget option.

If it’s holden stuff, no go on the budget stuff, need proper gear

Surely if it works on a BMW it will work on a Holden? Mine does brake reset/MIL etc. It's about a $200 unit.

Look up what cars it does, Very limited Holden models you can do anything on, they might show up on there, but they limit a lot of stuff that you can sort out, a lot of mid range ones will actually want the tech 2 card to do anything.

Did you put a flex fuel sensor in your car in the last round of upgrades?

I purchased a bunch of OBDLINK MX devices for my mates/customers after we installed flex fuel sensors so they could monitor ethanol % from the ecu & whatever else they want, like Inlet temps etc

Happy to setup for you too, however as they are bluetooth they only work with android devices. No Iphone. But seeing as android stuff is dirt cheap you can pick up a cheap phone or 5-7" tablet if you want to go bigger.

I've got a few of these still if you want the bigger screen.

Mine is a version 4. Listed as can do.
New model us 5+ listed as can do.

Heavyduty.... next time in Perth plug into mine and see if it works. They are around $200.
I know snap on scan tools doesn't reset my brakes but my cheap launch does....

Dave - no flex fuel sensor - it actually already had one in it, but John removed it, so it is 1 tune for one fuel, and another tune for e85.
Just after a scan tool to read error codes etc, and reset them

no flex sensor sucks.... good thing the pump e85 is pretty consistent then.

Now thats a fucking cheap shot :-)
But as you know if you play you $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
All good, only destroyed a brand new kevlar blower belt, but meh.
John now has a billet idler mount installed, and will waste my slicks at the strip soon doing a little fine tuning, then I'll go and see if we can get kicked out
