Sim racing time!

So with lock down looming for everyone..

tempted to dust off my steering wheel setup and get back into iracing and maybe some assetto corsa/etc.

First course of action though may be buying a new sim rig as my old playseat doesn't accept my fanatec pedals which are about 1000000x better than the logitech ones I've got hooked up currently.

Anyone else considering making corona purchases in these trying times?

Also considered making the plunge into VR but that's just not as necessary... plus I think i'd shit myself if I was fully immersed in something and 1 of my kids decides to dive bomb onto me.

iRacing is my main jam.. mostly the GT3 cars but since kids have gotten older that has been severely limited.

I've got Assetto Corsa which has come leaps and bounds since the early days with tonnes of mods/addons/leagues now.

iRacing has AI now, so that is quite fun.

Incidently selling my old playseat evolution alcantara (works with logitech and thrustmaster stuff but not fanatec).

$150 it's in good condition etc and I can deliver Perth Metro.

I play in a social league using assetto corsa on pc. If anyone wants to join pm me. They race wed night and most sunday evenings.
