Twe12ve, each genre has it's specialist. For you to compare hip hop/scratch DJ's as mentioned above with a progressive trance/house styled DJ is like comparing like apples and oranges.

Can you imagine PVD mixing on a QFO at DMC? ;)

PVD has certainly earnt his crust becoming synonymous with euro-trance and establishing his own trademark sound. Should be a quality show for those that dig his tunes.

The reason it's on that Thursday night is the next day is Good Friday, so everyone has the day off anyways.
I'll be going to see Pendulum on the 16th as well.

even tho im a true school hip hop head I might have to take up the oppurtunity to see PVD live for only 40 bucks, i gotta admit for an angel was/is a killer track. I dont mind capitol as a venue too, saw blackalicious there not long ago..

The Pendulum gig is Diz'Play - tickets are about $50-$55... its gonna rawk.

As for PVD, I absolutely LOVE "For An Angel" but that's about it. Enjoy.

or see DJ Shadow live...these guys are on another level to the mainstreme "trance" teeny bopper DJs who play at the olympics...a nice, discerning audience there...

Exactly what i was thinkin! I know if i go , i will do illegal things and not make it to work so i will miss out on pvd.
