Health warning - virus going around

Ive just spent last 3 hours getting blood tests.

Woke up this morning at 4am spewing my ring off, and kept going. I put it down to a slice of pizza i had last night, cos its all i ate, and featured heavily in the contents of said spew.

By 11am I felt like death, so off for some tests.

Seems like there is an extremely contagious virus going around. hits you very hard.

Fever, aching body, spewing, diarhea.

If you know anyone displaying similar symptoms, i sugest you stay away.

Looking at 4 days to a week to recover, as there is no medicine to combat it with.

yeah i was sick as a dog yesterday, managed to make it into work today, i think there is a few going round at the moment, hopefully i got it out of the way early and will be alright for the res of winter

i had a very simlar thing yesterday. Had to take a day off work. Couldnt do fark all was tired, sore muscles , sore throat etc..
Think mine was just the normal flu but.
i had a damn flu injection like 2 weeks ago good thing that was .

Hey yer there are some nasty ones going around...

Gastro is the biggest thing going around at the moment: if you're vomitting, diarrhoea, feeling nauseous, stomach pains, farting, extreme fever, back aches, heart burn it can be that.

However, these symptoms can be for the current flu strain going around, except dizziness, headaches and neck pain can also included.

Best recommendation is bed rest! If you can't stand the vomitting though injections are actually available to help...my boss got one (but it doesnt last very long)....

We know, but how many of us actually take it seriously normally?

Pretty low % to be honest.

Ive heard of several people being hospitalised for this, and even a couple of people have mentioned in this thread.

If this was the flu i wouldnt have wasted anyones time with the post, but id say this has the ability to do some serious damage.

Its quite common to catch these things off someone you dont even know, that being the case, its hard to avoid.
